Yosakoi Hanamaru are a dance troupe focusing on the yosakoi dance, formed in Prague in April 2018. This dancing style originated in the city of Kochi and many ensembles have formed all over Japan, each with their own approach to the artform. The dance has also rapidly spread beyond Japan itself. Three members of the company were named yosakoi ambassadors in Kochi in 2019. The group is active in Prague and Brno and is currently the only ensemble performing this dancing style in the Czech Republic.
